🐮Cheese: Brighton Blue Cheese Organic 150g (Cow's)

Brighton Blue is a semi-soft cheese with a mellow blue flavour and a slightly salty finish. The cheese is aged in our Maturing Room for 6-8 weeks and this allows the classic blue veins to develop and add the distinctive flavour we enjoy. Brighton Blue is a well-rounded blue cheese that does not overpower the palette, making it an inviting option on any cheeseboard or for cooking with.

The cheese has won numerous awards including a Super Gold at the World Cheese Awards 2017-18 and 2019-20, along with Gold’s at both the International Cheese Awards in 2023 and 2024. In 2025, Brighton Blue won a Gold at the World Cheese Awards in Switzerland and was voted ‘Best Organic Cheese’ at the British Cheese Awards.

Cheese Facts

The promotion of mould within the cheese is created by piercing the cheese with long needles to create air passages that allow the mould to grow.
